Add hundreds of products at once using an Excel spreadsheet.

Getting Started: 1. Go to the Inventory page 2. Click the "Upload Excel" button (green button next to "Add Product") 3. A bulk upload modal will open

Download the Sample Template:

• •Inside the modal, click "Download Sample Template"
• •This gives you a pre-formatted .xlsx file with the correct column headers
• •Fill in your product data using this template for best results

Supported File Formats:

• •.xlsx (recommended)
• •.xls (legacy Excel)
• •.csv (comma-separated values)

Required Columns:

• •Description — Product name or description (required)
• •Price — Unit price (required, must be a number ≥ 0)

Optional Columns:

• •Tax Rate (%) — Tax percentage (0–100)
• •Quantity — Stock count (defaults to 0)
• •Unit — Measurement unit (defaults to "pcs")
• •SKU — Stock Keeping Unit code
• •HSN Code — Harmonized System Nomenclature code
• •Barcode — EAN/UPC barcode number
• •Note — Internal notes or remarks

Column Name Flexibility:

The system recognizes common variations of column names:

• •"Description", "Item Name", "Product Name", "Name" → maps to Description
• •"Price", "Rate", "Unit Price" → maps to Price
• •"Tax Rate (%)", "GST (%)", "Tax" → maps to Tax Rate
• •"Qty", "Stock", "Stock Qty" → maps to Quantity

Upload Process: 1. Drag and drop your file onto the upload zone, or click to browse 2. The system parses your file and shows a preview table 3. Valid rows show a ✅ green check, invalid rows show a ❌ with the error 4. Click "Upload All" to create all valid products 5. Invalid rows are automatically skipped 6. A summary shows how many products were created and any errors

Limits:

• •Maximum 500 products per upload
• •At least one valid row is required
